The Clos is a Monopole of Joly's Family that has its own AOC Coulee de Serrant. In older vintages, Nicolas Joly Coulee de Serrant was labelled as 'Chateau de La Roche aux Moines'. Triple 'A' producer.- Critics have scored this as the best available Savennieres wine: Jancis Robinson gave the 2008 vintage a score of 18/20.
- This is the top wine from this region with respect to number of awards won: the Guide Hachette des Vins awarded the 2003 vintage 3 Stars and the 2002 vintage 3 Stars Coup de coeur.
