Sartori di Verona is an Italian wine producer based in the northeastern wine-producing region of Veneto. The estate's specialist Veronese wine range focuses on Valpolicella, Soave, Bardolino and Bardolino Chiaretto Classico DOC wines.
The family-owned estate was founded by Pietro Sartori in the latter part of the 19th Century with the purchase of the Villa Maria vineyard in Negrar, in the center of the Valpolicella wine district. In 2002, Sartori di Verona joined together with Cantina Sociale di Colognola, thereby expanding the estate's access to the grape varieties of Soave and Valpolicella.
Sartori di Verona's extensive wine portfolio includes Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella Classico wines, with similar blends of around 50 percent Corvina Veronese, 30 percent Corvinone and 15 percent Rondinella. The portfolio also comprises a series of white wines including Recioto di Soave DOCG, Lugana DOC, Custoza Horeca DOC and Bianco Veronese IGT.
The estate's second wine label, Sartori, features such wines as Valpolicella Superiore DOC, Corvina Rosso Verona IGT and numerous Venezie IGT and Veneto IGT-classified red, rosé and white wines. In 2006, Sartori di Verona launched a new Veneto wine collection: I Saltari. These wines are made at Sartori di Verona's newly constructed winery in the Mezzane Valley. The winery and its products take their names from the so-called Saltari guards hired to protect the region's vineyards from grape thieves between the 16th and 18th centuries.
In addition, Sartori di Verona also makes a Grappa di Amarone, Prosecco DOC V.S.A.Q. Brut, Soave DOC Brut and an extra virgin olive oil. The Tenuta Cerulli Spinozzi and Mont'Albano brands also form part of the Sartori di Verona group.
