Maculan is an Italian wine producer located in Veneto in the Breganze DOC zone. It was founded in 1947 by Giovanni Maculan and has remained family-owned for three generations. Maculan produces a full range of wines but is perhaps best known for its dessert wines, notably Torcolato – a wine made by an age-old tradition whereby botrytis-affected Vespaiola grapes are dried from the ceiling for four months before vinification.

The estate is located at the foothills of the Dolomite Mountains with soils composed primarily of volcanic loam. The site spans 40 hectares (99 acres) and is planted to vines and olive trees. The winery sources fruit from 30 select growers in Breganze to help make up its varied wine portfolio of sparkling, white, red, rosé, and dessert wines, as well as grappa.

Maculan cultivates native and international varieties such as Marzemino, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Tai, Moscato, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. In addition to the Torcolato, the estate's dessert wines include Dindarello, which is produced from Moscato; Acininobili, made from botrytis-affected Vespaiola; and Madoro, a red dessert wine made from dried Marzemino with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Fausto Maculan, the current proprietor, uses both traditional and innovative techniques to produce the estate's wines. Maculan produces around 700,000 bottles annually.
