Domaine Bernard Baudry

Domaine Bernard Baudry is a wine producer in Chinon, in the Loire Valley. The estate specializes in single-varietal red and rosé wines made from Cabernet Franc and has a smaller range of white wines made exclusively from Chenin Blanc.

Founder, Bernard Baudry, established the domaine in 1975 with a 2-hectare (5-acre) plot of vines. The domaine has since grown, both with the addition of Bernard's son Matthieu to the family business, and with the expansion of the vineyards to their current 32ha (79 acres) size.

The vineyards are mainly planted to Cabernet Franc and a small percentage of Chenin Blanc on soils that range from gravel, to limestone-clay and sandy limestone.
