Cantina di Soave is a wine cooperative in the Veneto region of Italy. It is most readily associated with its white Soave wines featuring the Garganega grape variety, although it produces a range of still and sparkling wines under a variety of sub-brands from across northwestern Italy.
The cooperative's roots go back to 1898 when a loose organisation of growers was formed. It was formally established in the 1930s with 51 partners. There are now 6000 hectares (15,000 acres) of vineyards owned by 2200 members, serving six different winemaking facilities.
Borgo Rocco Sveva is a hamlet near the Castello di Soave that, since 2003, has been developed as the headquarters of the Cantina di Soave. It features extensive hospitality facilities as well as a winery for the Equipe 5 classic method sparkling and Rocca Sveva labels. The complex contains an experimental vineyard planted with 50 different clones of various grape varieties where viticultural studies are undertaken and from which trial blends are vinified. There is also a major research center run in collaboration with the University of Verona.
