Mocali is a Tuscan wine producer located to the southwest of Montalcino. The estate was acquired by the Ciacci family in the 1950s and produces a range of traditional wines from the region including Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, and Moscadello di Montalcino, as well as Toscana IGT wines from its original estate and a second property in Maremma. From this coastal estate, aquired in 2001, Mocali produces Morellino di Scansano and blends from native and international varieties including Sangiovese, Malvasia, Alicante, Merlot, Syrah, and Ciliegiolo.

The Montalcino estate spans 32 hectares (79 acres) and is located on slopes facing Castiglione del Bosco at an altitude of 980 to 1150ft (300-350m) above sea level. About 10ha (25 acres) of the property are dedicated to vines, primarily Sangiovese Grosso, planted in soils composed of marl and limestone. Other varieties planted at small proportions include Vermentino, Merlot, and Canaiolo. The Maremma property, the Suberli estate, is located between the Tyrrhenian coast and Scansano and spans 14ha (35 acres), with around 6ha (15 acres) under vine.

The estate's top designated wine, Vigna delle Raunate, is a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva produced from 100 percent Sangiovese Grosso. Made only in exceptional vintages, the Sangiovese designated for this wine ferments in French oak tonneaux, during which time 30 percent of the liquid must is removed for additional concentration. The wine is then aged four years in barrel.
