MGM Mondo del Vino

MGM Mondo del Vino is a large Italian wine producer founded in 1991. Today, the company is one of the top exporters of Italian wines, which are produced from a multitude of Italian regions spanning from Piedmont to Sicily.

The company was founded by Alfeo Martini, Roger Gabb and Christoph Mack, three oenologists and winemakers looking to sell Italian wine across the globe. In 2005, they sold a large proportion of their shares to their management team, and in 2013, the company became part of the Mondodelvi S.p.A. group.

MGM Mondo del Vino has a number of brands in its portfolio, including Sopra Sasso, Luna Argenta and Ricossa Antica Casa. Through these brands, the company produces a vast array of wines including Amarone della Valpolicella, Barolo, Barbaresco, Moscato d'Asti, Soave, Prosecco and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, to name just a few. The grapes are sourced from a selection of winemaking cooperatives and other privately owned producers.
