Baron de Ley is a Spanish winery located on the east side of the river Ebro in the Rioja DOCa and best known for red wines, and the Tempranillo grape variety. The estate has a history dating back to the construction of its signature fortress in 1548. It eventually became a Benedictine property, with the monks planting the first vines on the property.

The Baron de Ley winery was founded in 1985, with the monastery becoming the headquarters for the winery. The Baron de Ley Winery is a member of the Baron de Ley Group along with El Coto de Rioja.

Tempranillo is the dominant grape in line with the reputation of Rioja, along with Grenache and Macabeo, but Baron de Ley also releases wine with a focus on the less-common regional fruit. Single varieties and proprietary blends beyond the classic Rioja-designated wine are made from grapes including Maturana Tinta, Graciano, Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Grenache Blanc.
