Pascual Toso is one of the oldest wineries in Argentina, founded in Mendoza in 1890 by Italian immigrant Pascual Toso. It makes a range of wines from Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, ranging from prestigious, single-vineyard blends to easy-drinking table wines. In 2007, Pascual Toso won the trophy for best Argentinian producer at the International Wines and Spirits Challenge.

The estate is located in Las Barrancas estate in Maipu, and extends over 400 hectares (1000 acres) of stony soils at an altitude of 2500ft (750m) above sea level. The warm days and cold nights that this terroir delivers slows ripening and means that the grapes can develop rich varietal character while still retaining acidity.

Pascual Toso's top wine is Magdelena, a Malbec-dominant wine made by renowned American winemaker Paul Hobbs. The winery produces a range of other wines, from the single-vineyard Pedregal and Alta wines, to the Estate and Selected Vines ranges.
