Azienda Agricola Montevetrano is a wine producer situated in the Monti Picentini Regional Park in the Campania region of southern Italy. The 26-hectare (64-acre) estate was established in the mid-1980s and today makes wines from a blend of the local variety Aglianico and international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The estate's main wine is its Colli di Salerno IGT wine, essentially a Campanian version of a Super Tuscan. This comes from a 5-ha (12-acre) vineyard that sits on southwest-facing slopes in a sheltered valley. Montevetrano makes around 30,000 bottles a year of this wine, which was first released in 1989.
Montevetrano's second label, Core, includesa red and a white wine made under the Campania IGT wines. The red wine is made from Aglianico, while the white wine is a blend of Greco Bianco and Fiano.
