The coat of arms of Avio

Valdadige Terradeiforti (or simply Terradeiforti) is a DOC of the Trentino province in northern Italy's Trentino-Alto Adige wine region. Wines sold under this DOC have previously also been called Terradeiforti Valdadige, but this name was phased out between 2006 and 2011.

There are six officially recognized types of Valdadige Terradeiforti wine: three varietals (Enantio, Casetta and Pinot Grigio) and their higher quality forms – aged riserva in the case of the reds, higher-alcohol superiore in the case of the whites.

The little-known Enantio grape variety is peculiar to the Trentino region, and is otherwise known as Lambrusco a Foglia Frastagliata. Its deep-red pigmentation makes for intensely colored wines. Casetta is an equally unknown name in the wider wine world, and wasn't even officially recognized in the region's DOC laws until 2002. Pinot Grigio, on the other hand, needs little introduction.

The vineyard area covered by this title corresponds to the communes of Brentino Belluno, Dolce', Rivoli and Avio. The first three of these are not part of Trentino at all, and are located within the Veronese province in the far north-western corner of Veneto. Avio sits at the southernmost point of Trentino-Alto Adige, the last Trentino commune passed by the Adige river as it flows down towards the Po Plains.
