Southeastern New England is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) of the north-eastern United States, covering 1.8 million acres (760,000ha) along the Atlantic Coast. Starting just south of the city of Boston, the AVA encompasses the Cape Cod Peninsula in Massachusetts, Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, and a thin strip of land along Connecticut's southern coast.

The moderating waters of the Long Island Sound, Cape Cod Bay and Massachusetts Bay have an important effect on viticulture here, extending the growing season, which leads to balanced wines with bright, fresh characters. Grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Vidal and Riesling do well in Southeastern New England's cool climate.
