Shenandoah Valley is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) of both Virginia and West Virginia, where the proximity of two mountain ridges of the Appalachians offer a sheltered mesoclimate suitable for viticulture. Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and hybrid varieties such as Chambourcin make up the majority of the plantings in the region.

The vast majority of the AVA's 2.4 million acres (970,000ha) is located in Virginia, with only a tiny portion creeping into the easternmost 'panhandle' of West Virginia. No wines are currently produced in this part of the AVA.

For a more detailed description of this AVA and its wines, see Shenandoah Valley – Virginia.
