Adelaida District is a winegrowing region, and designated AVA, in San Luis Obispo County on California's Central Coast. It was the site of the Hoffman Mountain Ranch Winery, which was the first modern commercial winery in Paso Robles, founded in 1964, with André Tchelistcheff as consultant.

It is the most westerly wine region in Paso Robles, and was awarded its own AVA status in 2014. It is defined by the Santa Lucia Range, with its territory rising from the foothills and up the mountain slopes for elevations of 900-2200 feet (275-670 meters), and includes the highest sites in the greater Paso Robles region. Adelaida's most inland border extends along the west bank of the Salinas River, and runs between the city of Paso Robles and the town of San Miguel, where it meets the northern San Miguel District AVA. The soil is predominantly made up of calcareous soils characterized by a high volume of calcium carbonate from underlying chalk and limestone.

Adelaida's westerly location increases the influence of the Pacific Ocean compared to other Paso Robles growing regions. It receives light cooling breezes rolling in off the sea and some accompanying marine fog. Rainfall too is on the higher end when compared to neighboring AVAs, with an average of 25 inches annually.

The most important grapes to the region are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel, along with the southern Rhône varietals Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
