Hohenbeilstein is a small German wine-growing village near Heilbronn in Württemberg.
Riesling, Lemberger, Trollinger, Spätburgunder, Samtrot and Weissburgunder are the principal varieties grown at the Grosse Lage vineyard of Schlosswengert, located on the western edge of the Löwenstein mountain range. The site receives partial protection from the elements from the old castle, Burg Hohenbeilstein, and is a monopole of the associated winery, Schlossgut Hohenbeilstein.
