Bourgogne Cote Chalonnaise is the regional appellation covering the red, white and rose wines from 44 communes in the Cote Chalonnaise wine sub-region in southern Burgundy.

The wines are produced under the conditions of the Bourgogne appellation and must be made exclusively from grapes grown within the boundaries of the Bourgogne Cote Chalonnaise communes. These extend from Montagny in the south right up to Chagny in the north – just a short distance from Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay at the southern end of the Cote d'Or.

Pinot Noir (for reds) and Chardonnay (for whites) are the grape varieties used here, with a small quantity of Pinot Gris employed in the rose wines.
