Many critics score this Barolo wine highly: The Wine Advocate gave the 2006 vintage a score of 96 and Jancis Robinson gave the 2008 vintage a score of 18/20.
At various competitions this wine has been awarded a couple of prizes: the TWA-BIWA awarded the 2008 50 Best Italian Wines and the Vinibuoni d'Italia awarded the 2007 vintage Corone.
This is among the highest-priced Barolo wine. The price has been rising over the last year.
