Indicative blend: 50% Sangiovese, 45% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Untill vintage 2000 this wine was simply called 'Brancaia'.- A number of critics have rated this Toscana IGT wine extremely highly: the 2006 vintage was given a score of 95 by The Wine Advocate and the 2012 vintage was given a score of 92 by Wine Spectator.
- Ranked in the top 10 for number of awards won among wines from this region: the Decanter World Wine Awards awarded the 2011 Gold and the Mundus Vini awarded the 2006 vintage Gold.
