Depending on the vintage the wine is produced from different grape varieties: 2009 Syrah and Alicante, 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante, and 2012 Cabernet Franc.- A number of critics have rated this Toscana IGT wine extremely highly: the 2011 vintage was given a score of 95 by Wine Spectator.
- This is among the highest-priced Toscana IGT wine. It has been becoming more affordable over the past year.
