Indicative blend: 85% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano from 60-year-old vines
This is the fifth most highly rated Rioja Alavesa wine (based on critic scores): the 2010 vintage was given a score of 96 by The Wine Advocate and the 2004 vintage was given a score of 92 by Wine Spectator.
At various competitions this wine has been awarded a couple of prizes: This wine has won the Decanter World Wine Awards Gold award for the 2010 vintage and the 2008 vintage.
This is the second highest-priced red wine from Rioja Alavesa. The price has been stable over the past year.
