Bonded Winery #9 (BW9) was established in 1877 in Oakville, California. Today, it is known as Napa Wine Company – the Pelissa family purchased the facility and surrounding vineyard in 1993. That bonded number (9) still holds true today – and we are the only single-digit bonded winery in California still in operation. We want to pay homage to this amazing piece of history in the Napa Valley, that we feel so lucky to be part of. Our new label, BW9, expresses the most high-quality and sought after fruit from our Yountville and Oakville estate vineyards.
